The UGM will feature presentations for both new and experienced users given by industry-leading companies and will provide valuable insight into what’s coming in the Emulate3D demonstration, simulation, and controls testing software from some of the key Emulate3D architects and developers. We’ll be carrying out our pre-UGM training again this year, aimed at all users from enthusiastic beginners to experienced professionals. Designed to provide insight into the possibilities of the latest release of the products, the sessions also include working examples of how to implement the various Emulate3D software features at all levels. Improve your productivity and get better results by following the event training and working through the extra offline training content made available exclusively to attendees.
What’s New At the 2020 Virtual User Group Meeting?
This year we’ll be initiating interactive, cloud-based tutorials for the first time. You will have an opportunity to log on to a session where you can access Emulate3D to construct an emulation model and connect it to the Rockwell Automation PLC Emulator, all running on Microsoft Azure. This will be limited to the first 100 attendees, so book early as they will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Be among the first to experience the future!
Sessions will run online for four hours each day, with short breaks. If you are in the US, these sessions will be in the morning, and if you are in Europe, they’ll be in the afternoon. If you have questions at any time during the presentations you can ask them in chat and we’ll do our best to answer them live, or we’ll get back to you right after the presentation.
Emulate3D technical presentations will be supplemented with further online presentations and in-depth training tutorials available exclusively to registered attendees after each session.
Emulate3D UGM would be complete without a social event, and this one’s no different from that perspective. We’ll be hosting a VR-based social event featuring live music, stand up comedy, general small talk and chit chat for all attendees and presenters. This unique event is equally accessible to those with VR headsets or without, and promises to be memorable in many ways. We’ll see you there!
The Emulate3D 2020 Virtual User Group Meeting
Day 1 – User Hands-on Training – Book early to ensure your cloud-based experience, or follow the trainer step-by-step as you are guided through the process of building an emulation model on your own laptop. Sessions will include model building, CAD Is The Model techniques, and logic construction, as well as connecting to the virtual PLC emulator. Intermediate stage models will be provided to ensure you are never stuck for long. Suitable for all user levels, Day 1 will be a 4-hour session with breaks.
Day 2 and Day 3 – User presentations and Emulate3D technical presentations, including “What’s New in 2020”. Extra Emulate3D training and technical content complementing the presentations will be made available to attendees offline. All content will remain accessible to attendees for six months following the event. Day 2 and day 3 will each comprise of a 4-hour sessions with breaks.
