Baggage handling
Applications
We have extensive baggage handling simulation experience and advanced simulation tools to facilitate highly detailed and accurate baggage handling systems models. These provide the capability to model complete terminal and inter-terminal baggage handling systems from departures check-in through to container handling and aircraft and from flight arrivals through bag sortation to carousels. Models are typically driven by flight schedules or bag flow rates and bags are effectively ‘bar coded’ within the models to reflect status eg. reject, class, transfer, flight no, etc stored on each bag.
The scope of these models have included:-
- detailed modeling of passenger check-in and CED algorithms
- HBS and reject handling
- automated sorting to chute
- early/re-flight bag stores
- direct and transfer bag handling
- tug/trailer management of full & empty containers to
- aircraft stands
- operator requirements for chutes and HBS lines.

Airport simulation
Applications
In addition to baggage and cargo handling simulation at airports, we have successfully provided simulation solutions in many other areas of landside and airside operations. These have included:-
