AutoLogic Systems has officially been announced as a GoComet partner and will start offering the platform, an enterprise freight management and procurement solution, in the UK this month.
GoComet reduces costs and manages freight more efficiently by providing procurement, container tracking and invoice reconciliation all on a single platform. The service helps companies digitise their international logistics operations and save 8-15% on their costs.
Using their proprietary reverse auctions methodology, companies can save up to 15% on freight. Firms can also automatically compare vendor invoices with the confirmed bids to save time and errors within finance.
Using an MBL/Container number customers can track, map and shorten international lead times for containers by up to 20%.
The entire Freight Procurement Audit, accepted by all major global auditors, can be done directly on the platform.
Global customers include JohnDeere, Sun Pharma, Polyplex, Indorama Ventures and Glenmark.
